Naufus Ramírez-Figueroa
The Naufus Ramírez-Figueroa survey exhibition at Museum Leuven (M Leuven) presented an update of the Guatemalan-Canadian artist’s diverse practice. Curator Eva Wittocx’s selective overview, which was composed of an alluring mix of new and recent sculptures, installations, panel paintings and performance videos, highlighted aspects of Guatemala’s culture, management of natural resources and tumultuous historical events.
