Oliver Laric, Timelapse
Though change aµects all materials, much of what transpires cannot be seen. It is a condition that calls up that proverbial question: If a tree falls in the forest and no one hears it, does it make a sound? That proposition underlies Timelapse, Oliver Laric’s contemplative exhibition. The presentation, which places an emphasis on the processes of evolution and decay, also explores the intervals of time and space and their role in the acquisition and interpretation of empirical information.
